We took a family road trip to eat at Paula Deen's resturaunt. We arrived too late for lunch and did not get to eat until 9:00pm. INSANE! However, Savannah is definetly a place that I will go back just to photograph. I would love to be able to walk around for an entire week to take it all in.

I wanted to try something outside of my box. I took the girls to the thrift stores, picked up a few items, and got creative. How did we do?

My Motif

or should I say...lack there of. I was trying some raw image shots from the recliner when I realized how pitiful the decor is. I love images of my family. How could I possibly choose from all the photos that I have, just a few to put on the wall. So, believe it or not, there are none(yes, that's right, I said NONE) hanging on my walls. There are however, tons propped against everything that will hold them up...even the photgraphy magazines. The black and whites are my favorites because I believe that they show the true emotion of the subject. Color only works part of the time in my images so, I save that for Georgia O'Keefe.

The Website...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! I am having serious issues. The website homepage is created and ready to look at, but...I can't seem to get my host to cooperate. I've called customer service like five times today. I'll let you know when to take a look and tell me what you think. I'll be posting it with a "under construction" banner until I get everything working correctly. Thanks guys for your support and encouragement.

Halloween

Hmm...Halloween was a little different this year. My baby is 15 and decided to spend Hallowen with her friends, so...her dad and I went to grandma's to wait for Anna(niece) to come by and show us her pumpkin costume that her "Aunt K" made. She wanted to be a pumpkin because baby Harrison was going to be a pumpkin. They were adorable. It feels like just yesterday that my babies were this size. :(
